REV UP YOUR REVENUE

1:1 Strategic Coaching & Consulting for Commercial Artists and the Agencies That Represent Them

Whether you’re an independent artist seeking to build a sustainable creative career or an agency looking to maximize your roster’s potential, I help you navigate the commercial art industry with clarity and confidence so you can surpass your professional goals and reach financial freedom. Let’s book that dream client, establish that ongoing retainer, finish that personal project, or elevate your international profile.

While you may recognize the symptoms, I help diagnose—and solve—the real problems keeping you from your highest potential.

The commercial art world pays attention to talent—but it values creative strategy.

I provide career guidance from the perspective of a seasoned commercial artist agent with 20+ years of industry experience. I bring an artist’s attributes into focus, amplify their artistic voice, and connect their unique skillset to new clients and opportunities. Together, we will build a roadmap that centers your specific goals and details the strategies to get there on your own or with my continued support.

Consider me the bridge to deeper self-awareness and the ability to translate that insight into more meaningful professional relationships.

It’s time to ask yourself, what are you waiting for?

About Me

Annika Vogt is an independent coach and consultant with over 20 years of experience supporting photographers, directors, illustrators, and other commercial artists at every stage of their careers.

My approach is highly individualized, centered on amplifying each artist’s distinct voice and vision. I specialize in helping artists harness their unique strengths, clarifying what makes their POV one-of-a-kind, and translating that clarity into creative confidence and professional success. My work is grounded in customized goal-setting, practical systems, and hands-on support, providing clients with a clear, empowering roadmap toward sustainable growth and personal fulfillment.

My background includes senior roles at artist management agencies in Los Angeles and New York City. In 2014, I co-founded the biannual cultural publication SUITED and served as its Art Editor until its conclusion in 2020. From 2020 to 2025, I acted as the founder and managing director of BÜRO—a boutique agency representing photographers and directors working at the intersection of commercial and fine art.

I believe in the power of community and mentorship to inspire bold, meaningful transformation. My role is to weave the two by providing a dedicated hand in my clients’ career development and artistic practice in tandem and with intention.

I hold a BFA in Photography from ArtCenter College of Design and am based in the New York metropolitan area. In my free time, I enjoy restoring my historic home, volunteering and civic participation, and dreaming up new business ideas.

  • "After having an agent for 16 years I thought, “I can do this on my own, no problem”. Well, let me just say that I have a newfound appreciation for what they do and Annika has been the perfect collaborator in bridging that gap. I’ve always thought I was a good editor but after doing this for some time now I’ve found it invaluable to have other eyes on my work and Annika is really exceptional. She not only helped me re-launch my site and re-edit my portfolio, but she is also my go to when it comes to treatments and estimating, which has helped me tremendously. Having someone essentially on call that can help you with all of these things and more has been a blessing. Her experience is very apparent and I’m so thankful to have her on my side."

  • "If you are needing an advocate who can negotiate on your behalf … Annika does exactly this for me in my work. She has done my client contracts and helped my define my role with clients, as well as negotiated fees, hours, rates, expenses and all of the details that we creatives [don’t] always think of. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself having Annika consult on all this stuff for me."

Her understanding of photographic layout and flow in my portfolio was incredibly helpful in an area I struggle with and don’t like to hand over so easily. Annika clearly understands the medium and what my aesthetic, in particular, [is] about, therefore being able to add a strong prespective to my work. Her connection to advertising agencies and magazines was impressive and the meetings we have booked over our working relationship were all met by creatives and producers who spoke so highly of Annika."

  • "Working with Annika has changed the way we approach treatments and made the process much smoother and more enjoyable.
